It was a bright, sunny day, and felt wonderful to be outside. I traveled in with my droogs <strong>Ken Soulhuntre<\/strong> (who braved the discomforts of &#8220;the big blue room&#8221; on my behalf), and <strong>Sir Lone Wolf<\/strong>, who provided me with the defining moment of the day.<\/p>\n<p>Before I get to that, a moment to express how good it was to see people, and my regrets to those I missed when I had to go- specifically <strong>girlfriday79<\/strong>. I was also especially pleased that <strong>Sweet Candy Mike<\/strong> was there to spend a little time with, as well as <strong>Irishlass<\/strong> and many others.<\/p>\n<p>But the best moment came early. As lunch was wrapping up, the majority of people got together to go do a few things that I could not join them in- roller coasters, ferris wheels, etc. <strong>Sir Lone_Wolf,<\/strong> who would have been in attendance regardless of my presence, stayed at our table as the others left., leaving only <strong>Soulhuntre, Kimiko<\/strong>, and myself behind. Just making certain he was not lingering out of some sense of misplaced obligation, I mentioned he could &#8220;take off with the pack&#8221;&nbsp;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em><strong>This<\/strong> is my pack<\/em>.&#8221; he stated.<\/p>\n<p>I cannot explain how good that made me feel.
