I should have a proof copy in my hand by the end of the week. I will have to resist the impulse to shred it, roll naked in the scraps, and flog the bishop like a chimp in front of a third grade field trip. I&#8217;m pretty psyched. <\/p>\n<p>It looks <i>good<\/i>. Really, really good.<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow is a Flaming Hoop day- my potential donor goes for what we believe to be the last test to get an answer. I&#8217;m a trifle tense about this, so I&#8217;m going to stick with <b>TFT<\/b> news instead. <\/p>\n<p>There is a book signing at <b>TES Fest<\/b> that I have been invited to take part in, and I&#8217;m all over it. The only hurdle is coming up with enough scratch to get my hands on a sufficient number of advance copies- an additional 2 or 3 hundred bucks I just don&#8217;t have after dental work.&nbsp; I will, however, find a way, even if I have to charge a quarter to preschoolers for stump rides (instead of my usual fifty cents).<\/p>\n<p>Then, I can just sit back and wait for the lawsuits and criminal charges to come a&#8217;rolling in&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I just did the last review of the Galleys of TFT,&nbsp; tatsumi_girl did an incredible job giving it life.
