Word from the Outside

Lots of people have been generously offering visits, calls, letters and care packages. I’ll take ’em. But I don’t want to post my address or  cell number openly, nor do I have everybody’s email address here. So, if y’all are serious, send me a note at [email protected], and I’ll send you the necessary info.

It’s amazing what a difference a care package makes. I was able to shave this morning because of a package my sister sent me, an I have thus been absurdly chipper all morning. I’m gonna get another box of razors, and I’m shaving my head clean again at first opprtunity. I’d do it now, but I suspect i don’t have enough razors, and leaving the job half done would do nothing to help my continuing efforts to convince the staff that I am not, in fact, senile.

I am also lucky enough to have a copy of Joe. R. Lansdale’s The Bottoms to read. That man is a southern gothic god.

Thank you all for the comments and support.
