Light at the end of the tunnel

This month I have my LAST two tests for my long delayed transplant workup- a cardio consult and EKG. My jacket will then be complete. The goal now is to ensure that my donor has jumped through all her hoops, and if not, get them done.

After that, it’s just a matter of flying her north. If alll goes smoothly, there is a chance of a kidney by X Mas. Here’s hoping.

About my donor: The Swamp Witch is my first- first lover, first teacher, first love, first servant. We burned very brightly for a few months after having been in love for years. We burned out, and she moved on to heal- but we found that the reins of authoritty were still there, that I could pick them up any time I cared to. She’s never had another Sir, or been on the bottom in any of her relationships since; apparently, that’s still mine. I discovered hypnofetish with her, as well as a million mistakes and a million lessons. When she wed a  few years back, she needed me to give her away.

This incredible creature, is donating me her kidney. When challenged by her family- repeatedly- she was unable to explain the one reason that was foremost in her mind:

“It’s already His.

  1. Wow. That’s incredible. And she sounds incredible.

I’m wishing you all the very best of luck and health with the transplant.

  2. That is absolutely fabulous that you and The Swamp Witch have retained that level of a relationship over the years, and her “it’s already His” adds to that.

I wish you the best of luck with the transplant. What a wonderful thing to receive at Xmas.

  3. OMG I am so happy for you! This is the best Christmas Present anyone could give. To Swamp Witch, may she receive all her heart desires for her unselfishness and to you may all the love that you have inspired in people be yours to keep and hold into old age which you will surely see. I wish the best to you and lots of luck. It will be great to see you become healthy again.

Hoping, indeed. Make sure you keep your old one; if this gets done before Christmas, you can have a most magnificent item for someone’s stocking.
